Projects

The following is a collection of classwork from various fashion merchandising and design classes at Central Michigan University. The Kaledo platforms were used and projects were created in the Fall of 2021.

Kaledo Style

Garment Illustrations

Kaledo Style is a Computer Aided Design (CAD) platform that allows users to draw and create works that in this case are fashion garments and innovations. Various tools that this platform utilizes are the pen tool, symmetry tool, texture application and various color effects.

Kaledo Print

Textile Designs

Kaledo Print is a platform utilized to add dimension, color and pattern, via prints, to garments through the use of various studios: Color Reduction Studio, Clean Image Studio, Design Repeats Studio, Colorways Studio, and Draper Studio.

Kaledo Knit

Textile Designs

Kaledo Knit provides a unique opportunity to visualize various 3D knits when specific yarns and stitches are chosen and mixed in unique designs. The platform incorporates different yarn textures, thicknesses, and colors in order to create a final output repeat.

Kaledo Weave

Textile Designs

Kaledo Weave aids in the creation of woven textiles with various options for yarns and weaves that can be combined and interchanged at different intervals. The textile can have alternate repeats, rhythms, and textures added to create new effects and varied appearances.
